At Cantiani Insurance, with the recent hire of our Social Media Intern, Meghan Fearon, we decided to invest in an iPad for the company. Over the past three weeks, we have discovered the major benefits of the iPad to our agency. The usefulness of the iPad has definitely proven its worth to us as we learn the ins and outs of this powerful, portable, mastermind!

The Apps that have been designed for the iPad, particularly speaking from the insurance business standpoint, are very useful and appropriate for our agency. There are over 400 Business Apps for both the iPad and the iPhone! We have read the reviews and purchased a select number of these Apps that we use on a daily basis. The App Store gives ratings and reviews for each and every one of the Apps, which is necessary in the selection process for purchasing and/or downloading them. One of the great offerings from Apple is that some of these Apps are free to download and use, and yes, they are actually FREE, not just a trial version that is going to expire in 30 days! Many of the free Apps are incredibly efficient and sometimes even better than the Apps that cost a small chunk of change!

We wanted to share our experience with this touch-screen wonder so that others can benefit from its impact on their insurance agency or business, and to hopefully further their interest in these technological advances as they prove to enhance our everyday business practices. We have come up with a list of the top 5 Apps for our insurance agency to share with you! Let us know if you agree/disagree/ want to know more!
